When adding and removing resources from the group, the Service Delivery CMDB documents the changes and takes them into consideration when calculating the service level.
When defining a resource group the user can:
A resource group can contain other resource groups and become a member of a high-level resource group. This enables building of an infrastructure tree to better reflect the service provider environment.
Note: After creating resource groups, clustering metrics can be created that enable a single metric to apply to all the resources within a resource group. For more information, see Creating a Clustered Metric.
