Detach a Custom Attribute Attachment

If the entity does not have another attachment to the same custom attribute (e.g. attached through another resource type instance, the value will be deleted when it is detached).

To detach a custom attribute attachment

  1. In the Custom Attributes Attachments grid, click Detach custom attributenext to the custom attribute you want to delete. The custom attribute is removed from the list.
  2. Click Save.

    Note: If there are Custom Attribute attachment instances that use the custom attribute, the system will notify the user of the number of instances that are using the attribute that are affected by the deletion. The custom attribute will be deleted from all entities after you click OK.

    Caution: The custom attribute attachment will be deleted without considering any version control and without performing any recalculation.
