A Foundation Entity is a database of service level contracts or contract properties stored in the system and used as a template for creating new contracts. Foundation Entity stores information that can be used as templates to create new contracts. When creating a contract, Foundation Entities can be used to fill in parameters (such as business logic formulas) that are typically shared by many contracts.
