Domain Categories

Domain categories describe a specific aspect of a service within a service domain. For example, in you have a service domain named Help Desk that describes all service level issues related to your Help Desk services, and domain categories, such as Help Desk Resolution Time or Help Desk Response Time, which describe that particular aspect of Help Desk service.

While a service domain may have many categories defined for it, each domain category is specific to a service domain. Domain categories within one service domain do not necessarily share the same parameters or units of measurement. All metric s within a domain category share the same measurement unit.

Categories can be seen only from the Service Domain page of the service domain for which they were defined.
