Service Domains

Service domains refer to logical groupings of service-level aspects that enable the system to measure provisioning in different categories. Examples of service domains include Availability, Backup and Help Desk. Service domains are made up of domain categories that describe a specific aspect of that common service-level aspect. You can create any number of domain categories, depending on the types of services you provide to your customer. Specific domain categories must be created to define metrics that can be used in contracts. You can then drill down into these categories within reports to view specific measurements of selected service aspects.

The Service Domains page allows you to add new service domains, search, view and edit service domains. You can also view key information about existing service domains.
