Report Calculation Indication

When a report is recalculated, records are replaced one by one with a new calculated record. This allows you to view a report that is being recalculated. You can view the information as it is being updated.

You can point to an icon to see the calculation indication of a report per date. When you want to send or schedule a report, you can check a flag to send the report once the report is calculated.

Calculation statuses include:

The data in the report has been calculated

A tooltip displays the last time data was calculated.

The data in the report is being calculated (or recalculated) and all data displayed in the report is invalid.

A tooltip shows that the data is in the process of being calculated and the report is out of date.

The data in the report is being calculated (or recalculated) and some of the data displayed is valid.

A tooltip displays the date up to which the data is has been calculated (or recalculated).

The status of the data is unknown

To view the calculation status of a report

  1. Open the report whose calculation status you want to view.
  2. Point your cursor to the indicator (e.g. ) above the report tabs. The calculation indication, including the last time data was calculated is displayed.

    -OR-

    Open the Analysis tab of the report, the Calculation Status is displayed.

    -OR-

    Export, send or schedule the report and select the check box include the Calculation Status.
