Emailing Reports

Charts can be sent and scheduled to be sent to a file or by email for review or approval. In addition, a link to the report can be added to the email.

The Alerts system must be set up in order to email a report.

Note: Sending a report is subject to user permissions.

To email a report for review

  1. In the report, click Email report button.

    The Send page opens.

  2. In To, type the email address(es) this report should be sent to.
  3. In Subject, type the subject of this report as it should appear in the email subject line.
  4. In Additional comments, type text that should appear in the body of the email.
  5. In Attachment format, select the output format of the report to be sent and in Include, select the information to be included from the available options.

    Note: Available options depend on the report type and format selected.

  6. Select the Add link check box to add a link to the report in the body of the email.
  7. Click Send.

    The report chart is sent to the listed email addresses.
