The dashboard enables managers to be aware of problems before they occur. Managers can take preventative measures on time to prevent contractual violations and avoid financial penalties.
The way widgets calculate their results can be tweaked and the right thresholds can be fitted to adjust the level of the sensitivity. For example, make an alert icon turn yellow when the service delivery performance just starts to deteriorate.
Since different people have different priorities, each user can adjust a different sensitivity for the status indication of the same entities. Different people have different perspectives (such as financial versus operational). You can base the results that are shown on different aspects and metrics of the service delivery.
Each user sees the information that is filtered according to the contract parties to which the user is allowed to view. For example, two account managers who view the status of a service are likely to see a different status. Each one automatically sees the status that is based only on the performance of the contract parties under that user domain.
The new dashboard provides each end user with the relevant information for that end user. One dashboard page serves numerous users and is created and administrated one time only.
