Verify Datasets in CA Process Automation

After you deploy the upgraded content pack, verify the data sets in CA Process Automation as described in this section.

Follow these steps:

Configure the CA Process Automation content.

Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to CA Process Automation as a CA Process Automation administrator.
  2. Click Library, AWS Operators folder.

    The AWS Operators content appears.

  3. Double-click AWS_GlobalDataset, click Check out.
  4. Enter information in each of the Value Definitions as illustrated in the following image:

  5. Navigate in the Folders tree to the CA ASC AWS folder, select the ASC_AWS_GlobalDataset in the Contents pane.
  6. Edit the ASC_AWS_GlobalDataset.
  7. Click Login Parameters CHANGE ME, edit the fields that are related to the CA Service Catalog administrator.
    User ID

    Specify the CA Service Catalog administrator user ID.

    Password

    Specify the CA Service Catalog administrator password.

    Business Unit

    Specify the CA Service Catalog business unit name. (This value is case-sensitive).

    db_user

    Specify the management database administrator username.

    db_password

    Specify the management database administrator password.

  8. Click APP URLs CHANGE ME and edit the fields that are related to CA Service Catalog and CA Process Automation.
    SLCM_URL

    Specify the CA Service Catalog URL.

    ITPAM_URL

    Specify the CA Process Automation URL.

    MDB_SERVER

    Specify the management database server name.

    MDB_PORT

    Specify the management database port number.

    MBD_DATABASE

    Specify the management database name.

  9. Click Misc Parameters CHANGE ME, edit the fields.
    Administrator_Email

    Specify the administrator email id.

    AscUtil_Jar_Location

    Specify the path of ASCUtil folder where the ASCUtil.jar is located.

    Note: ASCUtil.jar is located in the ASCUtil folder. Copy the ASCUtil folder from the service cartridge bin folder and paste it in the computer on which CA Process Automation is installed.

    TempDir

    Specify the temporary directory location where the CA Process Automation is installed.

    QuotaThreshhold

    Specify the value in percentage. When the usage exceeds this limit, an email is sent to the portal administrator.

    QuotaEmail

    Specify the portal administrator email id.

  10. Click Save and click Check in.

    The CA Process Automation content for the service cartridge is configured.
