Managing CA Risk Authentication Server Instances

Important! All the configurations and tasks discussed in this topic can only be performed by the Master Administrator.

As a Master Administrator, you will need to manage a CA Risk Authentication instance locally. However, before you can manage a server instance, you must configure the connectivity parameters to connect to the instance. For more information on this, see "Configuring Server Connectivity".

Only after you configure the connectivity parameters, you can manage the CA Risk Authentication Server instance. The tasks for managing an instance include:

• Configuring Server Connectivity
• Creating Trust Stores
• Configuring Communication Protocols
• Configuring the CA Risk Authentication Predictive Model
• Refreshing a Server Instance
• Updating Server Instance Configurations
• Shutting Down a Server Instance
• Restarting a Server Instance

Note: "Shutting Down a Server Instance" can also be performed by using system tools, as discussed in "Tools for System Administrators".
