Post-Installation Setup

After the Backbone Fabric Controller installation completes, you must perform the steps in the following sections to specify the base network information before you can power on the grid servers and create your grids. Once you have specified the base network information, you can edit the network settings later as needed to add and remove address ranges that the BFC will use to assign for use by the grid nodes and grid applications.

Note: You must add at least as many addresses for each network as you have nodes to be able to discover the nodes.

Perform the steps in the following sections

  1. Create the Backbone Network.
  2. Create the External Network.
  3. Create the Power Network.
  4. Configure and Enable the Discovery Options.
  5. Configure Version Download Settings.
