Configuration Checklist

The Configuration Checklist appears in the left navigation pane and it displays all the required and optional items that must be configured before grids can be created. The configuration items are verified and a checkmark appears next to each item as they are completed. If all of the required parameters are configured, you may close the checklist. If one of the optional or required parameters is not complete, the checklist will appear each time you login to the BFC. In addition, all of the required parameters are also checked when a new grid is created, and you will not be able to create a grid until the configuration items are complete.

The following is a list of the required configuration items:

• System Backbone Identity - See Configuring the General Properties of a Grid for more information.
• Internal IP Base - See Configuring the General Properties of a Grid for more information.
• Available Grid Ids - See Configuring the General Properties of a Grid for more information.
• Version Download Config - See Configuring Versions Download Settings for more information.
• Applogic Versions - This is marked complete once a CA 3Tera AppLogic version is imported. See Enabling Software Versions and Hotfixes for more information.
• Backbone Network - See Creating the Backbone Network for more information.
• External Network - See Creating the External Network for more information.
• Application IPs - entry is looking for configured IPs. See Modifying the Network Properties of a Grid for more information.

The following is a list of the optional configuration items:

• Power Network - See Creating the Power Network for more information.
• BFC Replica DB - Allows you to specify the location of a replica database. See Configuring Database Replication for more information.
