You must first install the BFC software on a control node before you can access and use the BFC. The control node (Backbone Fabric Controller) is the central system that enables you to create and manage your grids using the BFC interface. In AppLogic version 2.9.9 and earlier, the user utilized the ALDO distribution server to create and manage grids. The BFC replaces the functionality of the ALDO distribution server, by providing a web interface to manage the grids.
