The format for the slot/cart record is:

[SHIFT=n][,CART=xxxxxxxx]
Indicates the shift during which the job should run. If SHIFT is specified, it must be the first keyword on the first record in the PDS job member. The value of n is one character, 0 through 9 or A through Z.
Indicates the name or number of the cart which is to contain the pulled tapes. The value of xxxxxxxx is one to eight characters, A through Z and 0 through 9. If CART is specified, this program assigns slot numbers on that cart.
