The slot/cart record indicates the shift during which the job will run and the cart on which the tape should be placed. There should be only one slot/cart record per job.
The data set name record contains the data set name, creating job name, and volume serial information. There should be a data set name record for each input tape data set. Scratch tapes for output data sets may also be pulled.
Position 72 of each record must be blank. Positions 73 through 80 may be used for sequence numbers. Continuation statements are not allowed. A comment statement is indicated by an asterisk (*) in position 1.
