Resources Navigation

You can use Resources to manage virtual resources. This application is accessed by clicking the Resources tab on the main CA WCC page.

Note: Resources access is controlled by the ApplicationAccess policy in CA EEM.

Resources consists of the following sections:

The Search section displays key fields you can use to quickly find specific virtual resources that can be managed in your enterprise.
The Search Results section displays the results of your search criteria in a table that displays the complete virtual resource definition. You can use the Search Results section to select one or more virtual resources for deletion, update virtual resource properties, or display and run reports against existing resources.
The Properties section contains detailed information for the selected virtual resource and lets you create, update, or copy virtual resources to any CA Workload Automation AE instance.
The Resource Usage Report section is displayed below the Properties section when you select Report from the Select and drop-down list and click Go for a selected virtual resource, or multiple selected virtual resources, in the Search Results table.
The Job Resource Dependencies section is displayed when you click a job in the Resource Usage Detail Report section. The Job Resource Dependencies section lets you monitor the resource dependencies for a job.

Note: Resources contains several sections and subsections with available instructions. To display the instructions, you can click the Show Instructions button, located in the upper right corner of the page; to simplify the page presentation, you can click Hide Instructions to remove the panel instructions from each section.
