Create Object Dialog

The Create Object dialog opens when you click Create in the Quick Edit title bar.

Note: If the selected server has no credentials set, the object tree does not appear. An error message is displayed instead.

This dialog contains the following fields:

Server

Specifies the server on which the object you want to create will reside.

Note: CA EEM policies control the server list. Only those servers you have access to are listed.

Job

Displays the links for the job types to which you have access. Clicking the appropriate link opens the properties for that object, letting you create the object.

Notes:

Calendar

Shows links for the following calendar types:

Clicking the appropriate link opens the properties for that calendar type, letting you create the object.

Cycle

Opens the properties for a cycle, letting you create the object.

Global Variable

Opens the properties for a global variable, letting you create the object.

Machine

Shows links for the following machine types:

Clicking the appropriate link opens the properties for that machine type, letting you create the object.

This dialog contains the following button:

Cancel

Closes the Create Object dialog.
