Initiate an Action on an Alert

You can acknowledge, open, or close alerts from the Alerts table on the Monitoring or Dashboard tabs.

Follow these steps:

1. Find the appropriate alert.
2. Right-click that alert and select an action from the pop-up menu.

   Note: To initiate an action for multiple alerts, use the Shift or Ctrl key and mouse to select the appropriate alerts. Next, right-click and select the appropriate action from the pop-up menu.

   The Alert Actions dialog opens with the selected alert or alerts listed.

3. (Optional) Enter a response for the Acknowledge, Open, or Close actions as necessary, and click OK.

   The action is performed.
