Flow

The Flow section is displayed on the View Details page when you right-click a view from the Views table on the Monitoring page or Dashboard tab and select Open Flow. The Flow section displays a graphical view of the jobs and box jobs contained in the view.

The Flow section displays the following for each job and box job in the view:

An icon that identifies the selected job and its status
If applicable, one or more container objects that represent box jobs
If applicable, one or more lines that connect the job or box job to its predecessors and successors
If applicable, cross-reference job dependencies
Note: To view cross-reference job dependencies in the flow, the dependent jobs must meet one of the following conditions:
- The referenced job is included in the view definition
- The referenced job is created on a server configured for CA WCC
- The referenced job is a predecessor to a job in the view, but is not collected in CA WCC

This section includes a toolbar from which you can control the viewing area, print the visible area of the flow, or locate specific jobs and box jobs in the view.

This section contains the following button:

Expand/Restore: Toggles between maximizing the flow area and restoring the page to its original size. When you expand the flow area, the content in the right pane is hidden, letting the flow fill the space. Clicking Restore returns the page to its original view.

Notes:

Box Jobs are identified in the view with the icon located in the upper-left corner of the container that represents it. The name and the status are displayed in the title. The color of the title bar specifies the status of the box job.
Right-clicking a job or box job opens a pop-up menu, letting you send events to or change the status of the selected job.
