Delete a View

If you no longer need to monitor a view in your enterprise, you can delete it.

Follow these steps:

1. Find the appropriate view.
2. Right-click that view and select Delete from the pop-up menu.

   Note: To delete multiple views at one time, use the Shift or Ctrl key and mouse to select the views to delete. Next, right-click, and select Delete from the pop-up menu.

   The View Management Console dialog opens, displaying the delete_view command for the selected view.

3. Click Execute.

   CA WCC verifies the validity of the view definition. If the validity check encounters problems, a message is displayed describing the error. If the validity check succeeds, the commands are executed and the view is deleted.

4. Click Close.

   The View Management Console dialog closes.
