Scratch and Foreign Tape Mounts

Authorized users can create rules that control who can mount scratch and foreign tapes at your site. For example, to allow scratch tape mounts only from user IDs in the security group SALES, create the following rules:

ACCEPT SALES VMTAPE MOUNT VOLUME SCRATCH * (GROUP
REJECT * VMTAPE MOUNT VOLUME SCRATCH *

To allow read mounts of foreign tapes only from user IDs in the security group SALES, create these rules:

ACCEPT SALES VMTAPE MOUNT VOLUME FOREIGN READ (GROUP
REJECT * VMTAPE MOUNT VOLUME FOREIGN READ
