Entering CA VM:Backup Commands From CMS

To enter CA VM:Backup commands from CMS, perform the following actions:

  1. Type the name of the CA VM:Backup service virtual machine (default vmbackup), followed by a space.
  2. Type the command
  3. Press ENTER

For example, to issue the SUSPEND command from CMS, enter the following command:

vmbackup suspend

All responses to commands are edited according to the current EMSG setting of your virtual machine.
