The API Error action expresses information about error conditions related to an API. An Application Programming Interface (API) is an interface that defines the ways by which an application program may interact with external libraries and/or operating systems. Any type of error about the API can be mapped to this action. Less severe events should be mapped to the API Warning action. More severe events that warrant immediate action needs to be mapped to the API Alert action.
