Managing Collectors in Avaya or Cisco Environments › Assign Collector Thresholds
Assign Collector Thresholds
By default, all collectors use the default collector threshold. When you create thresholds, you assign them to the appropriate collectors.
Use the following process to assign a threshold to a collector and to remove a collector from a threshold assignment.
Follow these steps:
- Click Administration, Policies, Collectors, Collector Threshold Assignments in the navigation bar.
The Collector Threshold Assignment List opens.
- Click New, or select the threshold that you want to change, and then click Edit.
The Collector Threshold Assignment Properties page opens. The collectors in the Available Collectors list on the left are not assigned to a custom collector threshold.
- (Optional) Use the Filter field to limit the data shown in the Available Collectors list. Click Help in the management console for more information.
- Select the threshold that you want to assign or change from the Threshold field.
- Double-click a collector in the Available Collectors list to move the collector to the list of Selected Collectors. Select as many collectors as you want. The threshold in the Threshold field is assigned to all of them.
- Double-click a collector in the Selected Collectors list to remove an assignment.
The new assignment appears in the list of Available Collectors.
- Click Save to save your changes. The assignment appears in the Collector Threshold List.
- Click Save & Add Another to save the assignment and assign another threshold.
- Reload your collectors.
