Managing Collectors in Avaya or Cisco Environments

A collector is the component of a UC Monitor deployment that gathers call performance information and sends it to the management console for analysis and reporting. In a distributed UC Monitor system for monitoring Cisco or Avaya unified communications, the collectors run on different servers than the management console.

Note: A separate collector is not required in a standalone system. In such a system, the collector is installed on the same server as the management console.

This use case helps a UC Monitor administrator add and manage collectors and collector thresholds.
