Add a Collector

Data collection begins when you add a collector through the management console. You can add collectors at any time. By adding collectors, you associate the management console with the servers on which you have installed the UC Monitor software.

Follow these steps:

  1. Click Administration, Data Collection, Collectors in the navigation bar.

    The Collection Device List opens.

  2. Click New.

    The Collection Device Properties page opens.

  3. Complete the following fields.
  4. Click Save to save the collector. The new collector appears on the Collection Device List.
  5. Click Save & Add Another to save the collector and add another collector.
