Create a Realm

Policy domains contain zero or more realms. If you have not already done so, save the new policy domain by typing a name in the Name field and a brief description in the Description field, then clicking Apply.

Note: You cannot create a realm from within the Policy Domain dialog until the policy domain has been saved.

To create a realm

1. Select the Realms tab.
2. Click the Create button.

   The Realm dialog opens. Create the realm as explained in Configure a Realm. When you save the new realm and close the Realm dialog, the Policy Server User Interface displays the realm you created in the Realm tab.

3. Click Apply to save your changes, or click OK to save your changes and close the SiteMinder Policy Domain dialog.
