Configure a Domain Administrator
A domain administrator can only manage objects in one or more specified policy domains.
To configure a domain administrator
- Complete the steps outlined in Configure Administrator Identity and Authentication Details.
- In the Scope group box, select the Domain radio button.
The Scope group box changes to a list of selected policy domains.
- If the list of domains is empty or incorrect, click Add/Remove....
The Domain Manager for These Domains dialog opens.
- In the Available Members list, highlight the policy domains that the new administrator can manage, then click the Left Arrow button.
Adds the selected policy domains to the Current Members list.
- Click OK.
The Domain Manager for These Domains dialog closes and the selected policy domains appear in the list in the Scope group box of the SiteMinder Administrator dialog.
- In the Tasks group box, select one or more of the following check boxes to assign privileges to the administrator:
- Manage Domain Objects
- Manage Users
- Manage Password Policies
- View Reports
