User Directory Dialog—LDAP Namespace—Credentials and Connection Tab

The Credentials and Connection tab of the User Directory Dialog is where you specify administrative credentials that the Policy Server uses to access the LDAP user directory, and enables you to indicate whether or not the Policy Server uses an SSL connection to access the user directory.
