Delete a Policy Server Object

If a policy server object becomes unnecessary or unused, the policy server allows you to delete it.

To delete a policy server object

  1. Log into the Policy Server User Interface.
  2. In the Object pane, click on the System Configuration or the Policy Domain Configuration tab.

The tab you select depends on whether the object must be configured by an administrator with the Manage All System and Domain Objects privilege or the Manage Domain Objects privilege.

Note: If you login as an administrator for specific policy domains, there are no tabs to chose from in the Object pane. Instead, the available objects are simply listed in the Object pane.

  3. In the Object pane, click on an object type.

The List pane displays all existing objects of the selected type.

  4. In the List pane, do one of the following:
  5. Ensure that the object you want to delete is listed in the Delete dialog and click Confirm.

The system deletes the selected object.
