View an Alert by the Incident Identifier

Once an HP Service Manager incident is created, you may need to reference the CA SOI alert that is associated with the incident.

Follow these steps:

  1. Note the Incident or Case ID value for the incident in HP Service Manager.

    This identifier value corresponds to the Ticket ID in CA SOI.

  2. Enter the incident ID value in the Filter field in the Alerts tab of the Operations Console Contents pane.

    The alert whose Ticket ID value matches the incident ID displays. If the alert does not display, it may have already been cleared.
