View ServiceNow Parameters

The CA Process Automation ServiceNow Gateway uses the ServiceNow parameters to send data to ServiceNow to create an incident. When you define custom fields, use the ServiceNow_ variable. The variable is a copy of the ServiceNow parameters.

This procedure describes how to display a list of these parameters from CA Process Automation.

Follow these steps:

  1. Click CA Process Automation Client at the upper right of the CA Process Automation Console.
  2. Expand Default Environment in the Browser pane and double-click Orchestrator.
  3. Select the ServiceNow folder.

    The CA Process Automation ServiceNow Gateway integration processes display on the right pane.

  4. Double-click Configuration Dataset.

    The Value Definition pane opens.

  5. Expand Server Configuration, Configuration, Connector Parameters, Incident Parameters, and Custom Parameters.

    A list of ServiceNow parameters displays. A copy of these parameters is passed to the CreateTicket process during runtime. For more information, see ServiceNow_ Variable.

    The ServiceNow parameters display in the right pane with any current defined values that are based on what you configured while running ServiceNowConfiguration.

  6. Select ServiceNow parameter in the Value Definition pane to display attributes for that parameter in the right pane.
