Create a Vblock Service

The VCE Vblock service offering provides one-step service provisioning that can include both the operating system and additional software. This provisioning approach is both faster and more efficient than default run-time processing; however, it requires that you already have prepared the desired Vblock service offerings using the FlexUI user interface.

To create a Vblock service

  1. Click the Resources tab and navigate to the Vblock tree hierarchy in the Explore pane.

Browse the Vblock resources, Service Offerings, and existing services. You can create new services from existing service offerings, and optionally streamline the entire process all the way through to Vcenter synchronization in one single step. 3. Specify the desired service and detail information.
  4. Click OK.
