A reservation template is created each time you request a reservation and save it as a template. Templates preserve the virtual machine configuration and the minimum resource requirements in a reservation.
You can use templates to create new reservation requests without reentering the information. The templates that you create for your own use are private templates.
Public templates, which administrators create, can help streamline reservation requests across your organization because all users can access them.
