Test CA Configuration Automation Agent

The CCA Agent, a prerequisite for the configuration automation feature, is a light-weight executable file that runs on CA Configuration Automation managed servers.

You can test a CCA agent to determine whether the CCA Agent is installed and running.

Follow these steps:

1. In the Management window, open the Explore pane.

   Available groups, services, and systems appear.

2. Expand the Data Center folder and the CA Server Automation Services folder.

   Data Center discovered and managed resources appear.

3. Right-click a server in the Explore pane and select Verification, Test CCA Agent.

   A message verifies whether the CCA Agent is running.
