Decide How to Manage Approval Requests

Reservation requests can be automatically approved or sent to an administrator for manual approval. If you configure the Reservation Manager to approve requests automatically and the resource is available, the reservation is approved immediately. No email is sent. If you configure the Reservation Manager not to approve reservation requests automatically, an email notification is sent to you after users submit new requests. The status of those requests is Pending Approval and require you to approve or reject the request manually.

Automatic approval of requests is enabled per resource pool. To configure automatic approval of requests for a specific resource pool, set the "Automatically approve reservation requests" option in the Access Policy tab of the Resource Pool Details page.
