Rename an Agent

The name for an agent defaults to the host name during the agent installation process. You can rename the agent. For example, you could replace the FQDN for the host with Agent-host_name.

Follow these steps:

  1. Click the Configuration tab and expand Agents on the Configuration Browser palette.
  2. Select the agent to rename and click Lock.
  3. Right-click the agent and select Rename.
  4. Type the new name.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Select the agent and click Unlock.
