XCFMEMBR Parameter

This parameter indicates the name of the XCF Group Member that will identify CA PMO in the XCF Group.

Format

The XCFMEMBR parameter has the following syntax:

XCFMEMBR=member name

The XCFMEMBR parameter requires one of the following values:

XCF Member Name

The Member name that CA PMO uses when joining the XCF Group. This value has to be 1 to 16 characters long and needs to be unique inside the XCF Group, that is each CA PMO in the sysplex needs to use a unique Member name.

Default: PMOXCFsysid where sysid is the 4 character system ID.

blank

Indicates that PMO/XCF component should be started. In this case, the Member name will be the default value PMOXCFsysid, where sysid is the 4-character SMF ID of the system.

Note: PMO/XCF task will be started when either XCFGROUP or XCFMEMBR parameter is specified. You can specify XCFMEMBR= to use the default value.
