The maximum number of private libraries that CA PMO considers for management. These libraries are called candidates. The candidate list is shown on the D9 PMOMON display. CA PMO includes candidate libraries for management as warranted by directory search activity.
Note: CA PMO cannot include candidates that you have excluded from management by setting a parameter or issuing a command.
The NUMCANDS parameter has the following syntax:

The NUMCANDS parameter requires the following value:
Designates the maximum number of private libraries to be placed on the candidate list. For each library, 224 bytes of storage is obtained in ECSA.
Default: NUMCANDS=60
