How to Enter PMOMON Commands

To specify a PMOMON command, type the command name (for example, D1) and press Enter. The command that you typed is shown in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. The following table lists a brief summary of PMOMON commands.

?

Displays help information for the display you are viewing.

Entered from: Any display.

CM

Shows the main D5 display on cumulative performance benefits and cost savings.

Entered from: A D5 display only.

CR

Shows the D5 display on performance and cost benefits for the current interval.

Entered from: A D5 display only.

D0

Shows the D0 display on CA PMO parameters.

Entered from: Any display (the menu and D0-D10).

D1

Shows the D1 display on the managed list.

Entered from: Any display (the menu and D0-D10).

D2

Shows the D2 display on BLDL/FIND request activity.

Entered from: Any display (the menu and D0-D10).

D3

Shows the D3 display summarizing LNKLST library searches.

Entered from: Any display (the menu and D0-D10).

D4

Shows the D4 display on LNKLST searches per library.

Entered from: Any display (the menu and D0-D10).

D5

Shows the D5 display on cumulative performance benefits and cost savings.

D6

Shows the D6 display summarizing private library management.

Entered from: Any display (the menu and D0-D10).

D7

Shows the D7 display summarizing private library searches.

Entered from: Any display (the menu and D0-D10).

D8

Shows the D8 display on searches of managed private libraries, sorted by library. If you type a dash (-) and up to 44 characters after this command, CA PMO shows only library names that begin with those characters.

D9

Shows the D9 display on candidate library searches.

Entered from: Any display (the menu and D0-D10).

D10

Shows the D10 display on library updates. If you type a dash (-) and up to 44 characters after this command, CA PMO shows only library names that begin with those characters.

H-

Stops printing hard copy versions of the displays (deactivates the H? command).

Entered from: Any display (the menu and D0-D10).

H?

Prints a hard copy version of each display that you view after issuing this command. The displays are printed using the SYSOUT class that you specify on this command (you type a one-character SYSOUT class—not a ?). The H- command (or the Z, XQ, or XC command) cancels this command.

LB

Sorts the D8 display by library. If you type a dash (-) and up to 44 characters after this command, CA PMO shows only libraries with names that begin with those characters.

LNK

Displays same-system and cross-system updates for LNKLST libraries.

Entered from: The D10 display only.

LS

Displays all active LNKLST sets. Choose one to display further information.

Entered from: Any display (the menu and D0-D10).

M

Returns you to the CA PMO Display Menu.

Entered from: The D0-D10 displays.

O

Displays commands for manipulating PMOMON displays D0 through D10.

Entered from: Any display.

PB

Lets you scroll backward through multi-screen displays.

Entered from: The D1, D4, D8, D9, and D10 displays.

PF

Lets you scroll forward through multi-screen displays.

Entered from: The D1, D4, D8, D9, and D10 displays.

PK

Shows the D5 display on performance and cost savings for the peak interval.

Entered from: A D5 display.

PVT

Displays same-system and cross-system updates for private libraries.

Entered from: The D10 display only.

S-

Shows an unsorted display of the managed list. You must follow this command with the D1 command.

Entered from: The D1 display only.

SA

Sorts the managed list entries alphabetically by module name. This order remains in effect until you change it with an SL, SN, or S- command.

SL

Sorts the managed list entries by library index. The order remains in effect until you change it with an SA, SN, or S- command.

Entered from: The D1 display only.

SN

Sorts the managed list entries by usage count. This order remains in effect until you change it with an SA, SL, or S- command.

Entered from: The D1 display only.

SUM

Displays a summary of same-system and cross-system updates for LNKLST and private libraries.

Entered from: The D10 display only.

VL

Sorts the D8 display by volume. If you type a dash (-) and up to 6 characters after this command, CA PMO shows only volumes with names that begin with those characters.

XQ

Ends PMOMON and invokes QFMON. This command is valid only if your system runs CA QuickFetch Runtime The QFMON load modules must be in the same STEPLIB or LNKLST library as PMOMON. Before invoking QFMON, PMOMON frees its resources and closes any active hard copy.

Z

Terminates PMOMON.
