Understanding the PMOMON Displays

PMOMON consists of the following displays, which are described briefly. The remainder of this chapter describes the displays in detail.

CA PMO Display Menu

A main menu that lists all of the PMOMON commands, including commands for invoking a display, scrolling through a display, printing the contents of a display, sorting the contents of a display, and ending a PMOMON session.

A list of the current values for most CA PMO parameters.

PMO Managed List

A display of the current contents of the managed list.

BLDL/FIND Request Activity

Statistics on all BLDL/FIND requests issued on the system.

LNKLST Library Searches—Summary

Statistics on directory searches of LNKLST libraries, and the elapsed time that CA PMO saved on these searches.

Statistics on directory searches of LNKLST libraries, broken down by each library that was searched. This display also shows the elapsed time that CA PMO saved on these searches.

Performance and Cost Savings

A set of three displays that show the cumulative savings of elapsed time, CPU time, and EXCPs by CA PMO; savings at the current time interval; and peak interval savings.

Statistics on directory searches of private libraries, broken down by the CA PMO reasons for either managing or not managing these libraries.
