Assign the Guest Access Type to a Contact

You can assign the guest access type to a contact after you create an access type that uses web authentication so that the contact can log in to CA SDM. You can notify the appropriate users in your environment about the guest contact after you assign the access type.

To assign the guest access type

  1. Click Security and Role Management, Contacts.

    The Contact Search page appears.

  2. Click Create New.

The Create New Contact page appears.

Note: You can also modify a contact.

  3. Select guest from the Contact Type drop-down list.
  4. (Optional) Associate the contact with a tenant. You can also make the contact public.
  5. Save the contact.

The contact is created and the guest access type is associated with the contact.
