Use Macros with Events

On an Event detail, you optionally specify a conditional macro for the Event Condition field. You can also specify any number of macros (except conditionals) in the Execute on True and False columns. When the event fires, the conditional macro is evaluated first. If it evaluates to true, all the macros in the True column are fired. If it evaluates to false, all the macros in the False column are fired. The conditional macro could also check to see if the Assignee is set, the priority level, service type violation, and so on. If no Event Condition macro is specified, the event automatically executes the True macros.

On an Event detail, you can select from almost any type of macro to notify contacts, set values on the context object, execute a remote reference, or attach another event.
