Example: Create a Site-defined Condition Macro
In this example, you create a site-defined condition macro that checks for the specified condition.
- On the Administration tab, browse to Events and Macros, Macros.
The Macro List page appears.
- Click Create New.
The Create New Macro page appears.
- Complete the following fields:
- Symbol: Enter Application P1.
- Macro Type: Select Site-defined Condition.
- Object Type: Select Request.
- Click Continue.
The Create New Macro Applications P1 page appears.
- Complete the following fields:
- Macro Description: Type Macro=Request, Priority=1, Request Area=Applications.
- If all Conditions succeed return: Select TRUE.
- Record Status: Select Active.
- Click Save.
The Applications 1 Macro Detail page appears.
- Click Add Condition.
The Create New Atomic Condition page appears.
- Create an Atomic Condition to check for Priority=2 and complete the following fields:
- Sequence: Type 10.
- Description: Type Check the Priority.
- Select an Attribute: Select Priority.
- Choose Operator: Select Equals.
- Select Attribute or Data Value: Select Data Value.
- Select 2 for the data value and click Save.
- From the Macro Detail page, click Add Condition and complete the following fields:
- Sequence: Type 20.
- Description: Type Check Request Area=Applications.
- Select an Attribute: Select Request Area.
- Choose Operator: Select Equals.
- Select Attribute or Data Value: Select Data Value.
- Select Applications for the data value and click Save.
The new condition displays on the Conditions tab of the site-defined condition macro.
