Configure CA Network Flow Analysis to Work with CA Performance Center
CA Network Flow Analysis must be registered with CA Performance Center so that administrators can set up SNMP profiles, domains, user accounts, user permissions, roles, and groups. SNMP profiles and domain setup are an essential part of data flow configuration.
Once you have registered CA Network Flow Analysis and have completed the needed administration tasks, operators can see meaningful reports in CA Network Flow Analysis and in CA Performance Center.
To configure CA Network Flow Analysis properly, you must perform the following tasks:
- Register CA Network Flow Analysis with CA Performance Center as a data source.
- Set up the following elements in CA Performance Center:
- SNMP profiles
- IP domains
- User accounts, permissions, and roles
- Groups
- Add Harvesters.
- Enable the routers and interfaces to export flows.
- Verify that CA Network Flow Analysis is receiving data from the interfaces.
These tasks are described in the following topics.
