Configure Web Content Expiration on Windows Server 2003
Use the steps in this topic to configure web content expiration as recommended on a standalone server or NFA console server that is running Windows Server 2003.
Follow these steps:
- Log in as a user who is a member of the Administrators group.
- Select Start, Administrative Tools, Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
The Internet Information Services Manager window opens.
- Display the options for expiring web content:
- Click the server name in the left pane.
The server features are shown in the right pane.
- Right-click Web Sites in the right pane and select Properties.
The Web Sites Properties dialog opens.
- Click the HTTP Headers tab.
- Select the following options:
- "Enable content expiration" check box
- "Expire Immediately" radio button
- Save your changes and exit:
- Click OK.
The Web Sites Properties dialog closes.
- Close the Internet Information Services Manager window.
