Establish a Link to Tivoli NetView

A link between Tivoli NetView and this product is needed if you want either of the following to be available to this product:

• The CNM data you send and receive in Tivoli NetView
• The unsolicited PPO messages you receive in Tivoli NetView

This product issues a link to Tivoli NetView when particular parameters are set for CNM or PPO data flow. Tivoli NetView is able to connect to this product when the NVCV subtask is started where it tries to establish connections to the product region identified in the initialization member that you specified when creating an initialization member for the NVCV subtask.
