6.1.1.4 NPM Network Gateway Accounting

NPM Network Gateway Accounting collects connect time and
traffic statistics for cross-network LU-LU sessions.  This
information is gathered from the gateway NCP NPALU (Network
Performance Analysis Logical Unit).

NPM writes Network Gateway Accounting data to the SMF Type 28
record, subtypes '60'X, '61'X, and '62'X, which CA MICS
processes.  It is your responsibility to archive SMF data on
a regular basis for input to CA MICS daily update process.
If you are running VM NPM, then is is also your
responsibility to transport the VM SMF-equivalent type 28
records to your CA MICS MVS host.
