6. DATA SOURCES

The CA MICS Network Analyzer Option supports the following
data sources:

o CA NetSpy Network Performance
o CA NetMaster Network Management for TCP/IP release 11.0
(release 11.5 will no longer generate these records.)
o CA NetMaster Network Management for SNA (Network
   Tracking System (NTS))
o CA NetMaster Network Management for SNA (Network
   Error Warning System (NEWS))
o Tivoli NetView Performance Monitor (NPM)
o Tivoli NetView Session Monitor (NLDM)
o Tivoli NetView Hardware Monitor (NPDA)
o IBM TCP/IP for z/OS

Note: CA NetSpy Network Performance is integrated with CA
NetMaster NM for TCP/IP. If you are a current user of CA
NetMaster, you may already be generating or can generate SMF
type records that are identical to records generated by CA
NetSpy. The SMF data generated by either CA NetMaster or CA
NetSpy will be processed and stored by the CA MICS Network
Analyzer. Therefore, all references to CA NetSpy also apply
to CA NetMaster Network Management for TCP/IP.
