6.3.1.1.4 VCNA Records
VCNA records (type 07) are created when a user logs off or
disconnects from VM and has been using a VCNA controlled
terminal as a console device. These records are created by
VCNA and passed to the CP. VCNA records are not subject to
the CP ACNT CLOSE command, therefore, if an installation
views the resource use of a virtual machine on a periodic
basis, VCNA data will not be available with time stamps that
coincide with other Account records.
VCNA records provide counts of request units sent to and
received from VTAM, characters sent to and received from the
CP, the number of console lines written (which is different
from full screen writes), and the number of copy requests
using the CP copy screen image facility.
